My work grows from my background in American traditional tattooing: solid line work, bold simple color palettes and heavy black shading. I like to explore the juxtaposition of tough and delicate themes and the way that wearers are able to explore these qualities through their tattoos.

I spent the foundational years of my tattoo career working in Minneapolis, MN. I now live and work in Providence, RI. I work by appointment only with my friends at Fool Heart Tattoo in downtown Providence.
